Job Description

Job DescriptionEMC Engineering, Simulation and compliance Responsible for EMC Engineering covering Design and compliance topics in High speed EMC area for electrical/electronic sub assemblies as per defined test plan / specs / standards.Mandatory & Desired skill sets :

  1. Ability to find and understand the relevant physical / electro-magnetical effects in a given problem situation
  2. Methodical approach for each investigation
  3. Knowledge about possibilities and limitations of EMC simulation
  4. Expert knowledge in RF and 3D field simulation ideally in automotive background and with CST Microwave Studio
  • Working experience with schematics and circuit simulation tools e.g. SPICE, Saber or equivalent tools, etc.
  • Working knowledge in Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)
  • Exposure to RF measurement techniques using Network analyzer, Spectrum analyzer, LCR meter, RF signal generators etc.
  1. Knowledge in power electronics, Microcontrollers, communication protocols and Analog circuits is added advantage
  2. EMC analysis equipment (NWA, scanner, .): knowledge and hands-on experience
  3. Theoretical and practical knowledge and hands-on experience in general EMC and RF principles and effects
  4. Basic communication skills
  5. Knowledge of automotive EMC standards
  6. Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 processes
  7. Basic soldering
  8. Good knowledge on Hardware (Passive and Active components - RF, Digital and Analog, High speed design)
  9. Knowledge about EMC Basics
  10. Hands-on experience in using measuring instruments - Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyser/EMI receivers etc
Added advantage :
  1. Experience in conducting EMC tests in EMC Lab
  2. Knowledge of non-automotive EMC standards
