The position entails responsibility for the entire documentation process including clarification of order scope, preparation of manuals, printing and shipping. The basic documentation language is English. Customer contact is limited, but the job involves extensive cooperation internally in the company, primarily with design engineers and project managers. You will be part of the Engineering and R&D organization. You will be the interface between the Engineers, the project managers and the customers. You will play a key role improving our documentation working processes and establishing new methods of working. Work assignments; - Preparation of operating instructions. Preparation of spare parts catalogues from SAP. Update of existing documentation. Development of documentation for new machinery and accessories. Administration and coordination of translations with a translation agency. Supporting Engineering and R&D management in the preparation of internal documentation. Technical qualifications; - Experience with FrameMaker or other programs for handling of large documents. Excellent language skills, English but other languages like German are welcomed. Technical flair, preferably with experience from the engineering industry. Experience with handling of drawings in Photoshop, Snagit, Acrobat prof or similar tools. Knowledge of SAP will be an asset. Work with improvement processes (Lean, Six sigma or Scrum). Superuser in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and flair for IT in general. Experience with the document management system. Min. 3 years of experience as a technical writer for an agency or in - house team. The ability to create technical guides at different skill levels and in a logical, comprehensive way. An in - depth understanding of what makes great user guides, documentation.Bachelor or Masters degree in the language (English) or Engineering degree with experience in writing documents for machinery.,
