You will join a well Funded / distinguished / High Impact Startup in Bengaluru. The right candidate will be passionate about working with large data sets for well established and emerging businesses. You will design, build and streamline data infrastructure, define methodologies, and create self- service business reporting and insight tools for Consumer International. You will work closely with our global BI teams to influence the direction of our global analytics and business intelligence road- maps. Outstanding leadership will be required to work across several teams. The work may include working and leading Data/ BI Engineers, Software Developers, Finance, and Business teams. The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and a strong understanding of finance. Independence and entrepreneurial ability to work with minimal direction and rapid prototyping is a must. Knowledge with storing and processing very large data volumes with high data quality standards Lead team and optimize writing of scripts and SQL code to deep dive data quality problems on a regular basis. Knowledge and direct experience using business intelligence reporting/ visualization tools. Experience 8 Years of Experience in Building / Launching Internet Products. Qualification You have worked with a variety of modern web technologies (front- end and/ or back- end). You advocate for best practices and high quality code in your teams, and are thoughtful about prioritizing improvements that will make meaningful impact in your team. You take pride in delivering high- quality products and build confidence in the software you deploy using a combination of peer review, automated testing, manual testing, and monitoring tools. You have a bias for shipping, learning, and iterating. You can constructively disagree with others while maintaining trust and respect. Strong in Enterprise Java , open source technologies, agile development and Big Data technologies. Good understanding of relational databases (preferred MySQL / PostgreSQL) Proven track record of hiring and managing high performing engineering team responsible for delivery of scalable and extensible distributed systems. Ability to drive multiple projects and deliver them on time with high quality. Passion for building a strong Engineering culture, operational excellence & innovation.
