Description Ability to develop cross- functional feature test plans based on system requirements Work with System Engineering on Requirements Review, Definition Work with Design/Architecture team in understanding the feature implementation Expertise in both Manual and Automated testing Provide detailed reports of test execution, defect analysis Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: 8+ years experience in testing in one or more of the following areas Testing Optical Networks (SONET/SDH/DWDM) systems in a product development environment and expertise in relevant standards. Experience in use of OTN, SONET, FC, and GigE test equipments Experience in system testing across multiple releases of a product line. Experience in test plan development and its conformance to requirements for ISO and TL9K audits. Prior experience in testing protocols such as RSVP, OSPF, BGP, GMPLS, CSPF etc. is a plus. Desired Programming/Scripting Skills: Perl, Shell scripting will be an added advantage Our client is a leading provider of digital optical communications systems.
