Develop software (in C) to manage and control digital hardware blocks to implement wireless communication standards physical layer. Hardware = software partitioning, interfacing and combined validation. Implement/ utilize low level software services like ISRs, timers, mutex, etc. Work closely with teams in the areas of micro- architecture, design, implementation, performance/ power/ area optimization and validation of different communication IPs. Using profiling, testing and other tools for firmware development. Education, Experience & Skills: Masters/ Bachelors Degree in engineering from a reputable college. 1 - 10 years of experience as a firmware engineer. Hands on experience in firmware or embedded software development. Good understanding of wireless standards and its physical layer. Communications theory/ digital signal processing (DSP) background would be a plus. Familiarity/ working knowledge of RTOS and ARM/ MIPS based systems is a plus.,
