Are you ready to lead in this new era of technology and solve some of the world s most challenging problems If so, lets talk.Your Role and Responsibilities IBM India Systems Development Lab is looking for Firmware Test Engineering Professionals in the IBM Power Systems Firmware team.
    • You will be responsible for testing system firmware that runs on IBM Power Systems spanning entry level servers to enterprise level high end servers with feature rich Reliability, Availability, and Serviceability (RAS) features.
    • You will work with the OpenPOWER partners and OpenBMC community for Firmware test and support.
    You will be responsible to:
    • Drive testing of firmware features to ensure high quality product
    • Automate tests as part of the agile development process
    • Interact with the development team to understand requirements and design
    • Collaborate with other teams to define/understand requirements.
    • Contribute in developing an environment of continuous improvement across product lines and development groups.
    • Continuously Innovate to ensure better customer experience of firmware features.
    Required Technical and Professional Expertise
    • 3 8 years of experience in firmware testing.
    • Proven Experience in Automation frameworks
    • Proven Experience with Python / Perl scripting languages
    • Proven Experience in C / C++ / Linux
    • Proven experience in Git and gerrit
    • Exposure to Embedded environment
    • Good understanding of Computer Architecture.
    • Exposure to Sever domain is nice to have.
    • Interest in low level HW is nice to have.
    • Understanding on network and security testing.
    • You should have team-based software development experience, be self-starters, demonstrated communicators
    Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
    • Automation using tools, Ansible
    • Experience in scripting languages such as Python
    • Exposure to Github tools, Jenkins, CI/CD
