Job Description

  • Responsible for performing the RTL and VHDL/Verilog coding procedures including the FPGA enforcement processes. Also takes care of the creation of the physical stages.
  • Looks after the sustenance and improvement of the designing procedures that are associated with the aspect of security
  • Take care of the processing and documentation of the VHDL/Verilog test-bench codes and other V and IV procedures
  • Required to identify the needs of the FPGA projects and record the occurrences taking place simultaneously
  • Required to maintain a record of the projects and control over the various configurations of the projects
  • Need to maintain an effective means of communication among the intra-department and inter-department personnel
  • During the execution of hardware enhancement phases, the FPGA design engineer is required to provide adequate laboratory assistance to other professionals of the department
  • Execute the FPGA verification and simulation activities
  • Perform the work of manifold segmentation of the FPGA designs
  • Takes the responsibility of enforcing and improving the algorithms that are related to the signal and information processing activities
  • Takes care of the various aspects of the high-speed FPGA instruments including its confirmation procedures, stipulations, and enhancement processes
  • Performs the task of examining, debugging, and consolidating the FPGA designs on specific platforms
  • Executes the job of experimenting, applying special codes, and theoretically working on the formulated FPGA designs
  • Required to perform the job of producing digital circuit designs that can work at an advanced speed limit at various board levels
  • Perform his tasks in close relation with the software engineers, DSP design engineers, and ASIC design engineers.
The main requirements of an FPGA design engineer are given below:
  • Engineer with degree in computer science, electronics, electrical engineering, or any other field that is pertinent to the industry
  • Proficient in operating the simulation and modeling equipment including the designing tools
  • Well acquainted with the basic characteristics of the digital designing instruments
  • Possess an expertise in the typical FPGA improvement platforms such as Xilinx and Intel.
  • Knowledgeable about the high-speed DSP and I/O and integrated CPU
  • Able to execute the chip enhancement procedures including the procedures related to synthesis and time investigation
  • 4-6 years of Experience in SystemVerilog and VHDL/Verilog
  • Experience in EDA tools like Mentor graphics or equivalent
  • Experience in creating Test benches and class-based verification methodologies.
  • Good knowledge in Digital design concepts
