FPGA System EngineerJob DescriptionJoin Custom Logic Engineering CLE part of IntelDPGPSG during an unprecedented time of growth and technology development and enable Intels datacentric vision in building and scaling customlogic solutions spanning FPGA to Structure ASIC and Custom ASICCLEs key mission is Leading as One Engineering through quality execution innovation and continuous improvement to drive growth in transformative markets As CLE org capabilities span from Architecture Silicon Software IP Platform System Validation Packaging Technology Manufacturing to Quality and Reliability Engineering this One Engineering mindset propel us to act as One Intel Team to collaboratively develop endtoend systems from Ramp to NPI to ramp to HVM production to EOL We are uniquely positioned to provide these fully integrated customlogic solutions of the future through all our deep technical expertise We are looking for experienced FPGA System Engineers to contribute to our next generation FPGA Fabric Transceiver Tiles and EndtoEnd FPGA solutions In this role responsibilities may include but not limited to - Postsilicon hardware validation and debug of next generation FPGA and highspeed Transceiver tiles - Design development verification and debug of Synthesizable FPGA IP designs for validation of various protocols and use cases - Lead definition of validation strategies validation plans content development and drive execution and debug with cross functional teams- Development of methodologies and capabilities that enable efficiency and effectiveness of postsilicon test content including synthesizable FPGA designs and scriptsQualificationsBachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Computer Engineering with minimum 8 years of relevant experience in - Strong experience in FPGA or ASIC IP System development validation and debug cycle - Experience in microarchitecture design RTL implementation FPGA synthesis and timing closure Lint CDC STA and debug of complex digital blocks- Exposure in presilicon validation verification flows in simulation or emulation - Expertise in postsilicon validation of FPGA or ASICSoC CPU Networking products including familiarity with Python TCL - Experience in FPGA hardware implementation and Debug with Intel Quartus or Xilinx Vivado - Expertise in FPGA or ASIC board bringup and debug including JTAG internal external logic analyzers protocol analyzers and oscilloscope Use of specialized test equipment like IXIA or Spirent testers - Expertise in one or more of Networking Protocols or Features like Ethernet CPRI PTP 1588 Compression Encryption Packet Processing etc - Experience in high speed serial transceiver Gigabit Transceiver interface and Integration is a plus - Experience with FW architecture FW development or FW validation or FPGA configuration flows would be an added advantage In addition the ideal candidate is expected to have - Skills and ability to be a self-starter ramp quickly on new technologies and collaborate closely with stake holders to drive quality and efficiency - Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills - Good communication skills verbal and written - Strong inclination to innovation to drive efficiencyInside this Business GroupThe Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) was formed from the acquisition of Altera.
