• Lead the end to end engineering of web delivery from solution, design, development, QA to the delivery of pixel perfect and high performing web applications.
• Responsible for the use of modern web technology, both front end and back-end to ensure solution are fast in performance, scalable across markets, highly secure, highly discoverable by Google and have pixel perfect layouts.
• Ability to guide and advise development team on use of web technologies that are in line with SC web and coding standards to minimise development TAT, and code reusability.
• Strong UI/UX acumen and experience to guide the team on the best-in-class web design, with hand-on development experience on the use of web tech stack to deliver that experience.
• Complete understanding on how to work in an agile team and have the command and domain authority of the team that to ensure Web Chapter definition of ready, and definition of done are fulfilled.
• Strong understanding of the web analytics to collaborate with Delivery/Technical Lead to determine authorisation of capabilities to drive scalability.
• Build relationship with various kind of stakeholders, such as Digital, Product, Segments, Marketing, etc.
• Document the progress and provide an update to the technology management team. Identify the risks in line with the agreed timeline and scope and discuss them with the management team for a timely resolution.
• Ensure that all deliverables follow SC web design principles, Accessibility guidelines, SEO guidelines, technology framework & tools etc.
• The proven ability to work under pressure with multiple requests coming in from multiple stakeholders in short period of time.

Our Ideal CandidateHands-on expert level technical skills required:

• Expert level hands-on experience on front-end development such as HTML 5, JS, CSS 3/SASS.
• Provide strong leadership to country digital team on content development and information architecture according to SC Group Web Management standards and guidelines.
• Familiar with design system, atomic design and scalable CSS, SCSS SASS, e.g. BEM, object-oriented CSS, etc.
• A high level of experience with UI layouts, SASS, LESS, Bootstrap, and the CSS GRID system.
• Able to develop working protypes for POC within a short time frame
• Expert proficiency in motion UI design principles in website
• Strong understanding of use of voice search on web
• PHP, Grunt, NodeJS, Express JS.
• Vanilla JavaScript, ReactJS.
• Good aesthetic taste in web design including the use of white spacing, typography, line height, carousels, icons.
• Wordpress development with proven ability to write custom themes, plugins, custom post types, rest APIs, etc.
• GIT and ability to automate the development process using GIT, GitHub actions.
• Familiar with Linux, Shell scripting and web application server setup.
• Solid understanding of protocols (HTTP, HTTPs, Sockets).
• Solid understanding of web application performance, caching, user experience optimisation, CDN.
• Excellent understanding of enterprise web application architecture and solution design.

Pre-requisites

• Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 8 12 years of web experience of which 3 5 years in a lead role
