Job Description

Our unified computing architecture enables training deep neural networks in the data center, and then seamlessly runs them on NVIDIA Drive Platforms inside the vehicle.You as a Functional System Software Engineer will join Tegra GPU System Software team which plays a vital role in realizing the vision behind these products by building core technologies and platform solutions that are complex and industry leading.What you ll be doing:

  • Working on safety critical software in our Tegra GPU System Software team, responsible for building and supporting GPU driver software.
  • Contributing to Safety Analyses FMEA and DFA.
  • Drive Static Analysis initiative and Code Complexity thereby improving overall software quality.
  • Work closely with diverse teams of engineers to understand software requirements as well as design to derive verification plan as well as creating the testcases.
  • Execute tests on target and generate code coverage reports.
  • Be critical point of contact for gatekeeping consistency on traceability across various Work Products delivered as part of functional safety.
What we need to see:We believe you are a dynamic self-starter ready to work solo as well as with an excellent team to deliver winning solutions ahead of time. We would like to see your programming and debugging skills and in-depth understanding of processor ISA.
  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 years of proven industry experience.
  • Familiar with one or more system safety methodologies and standards (ASPICE, ISO 26262, IEC 61508).
  • C/C coding under multithreading OS environment.
  • Experience with MISRA, AUTOSAR or Cert C/C standard.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively across multiple geographies in a dynamic matrix organization.
  • An understanding of Linux kernel and device drivers.
  • Dedicated and self-motivated, with a passion for developing safe and secure embedded software.
Way to stand out from the crowd:
  • Hands-on experience with automotive software development and Agile development methodologies.
  • Thorough understanding of the requirements management process and experience with tools (i.e. JAMA).
  • In-depth knowledge of GPU and CPU architecture.
