Job Description

    Job Title: GCP Data Engineer BigQueryExperience Required: 6 - 10 Years Job Locations: Bangalore | Hyderabad | Kolkata Employment Type: Full-Time | PermanentWe are seeking a highly skilled GCP Data Engineer with strong expertise in BigQuery to design, develop, and optimize data solutions on Google Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate will work closely with data architects and business teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms.Key Responsibilities:
    • Design and develop large-scale data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using BigQuery
    • Build and maintain data warehouse solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
    • Optimize queries, data models, and job performance for cost-efficiency and scalability
    • Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to define and deliver data needs
    • Ensure robust data governance, lineage, quality, and documentation practices
    • Integrate data from various sources including structured, semi-structured, and unstructured formats
    • Monitor and troubleshoot production pipelines, ensuring minimal downtime
    • Implement CI/CD processes for GCP-based data workflows
    Required Skills:
    • Strong hands-on experience with Google BigQuery and GCP services
    • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data transformation scripting
    • Experience with GCP tools like Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Composer, and Cloud Functions
    • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and performance tuning
    • Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow
    • Good knowledge of data security and access control in cloud environments
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer Certification is a plus
    • Experience with streaming data and real-time analytics (e.g., Kafka, Dataflow)
    • Prior work experience in Agile/Scrum teams
