Job Description

    Ops-Regulatory Operations- GRT Regulatory Reporting AnalystExp- 1 to 3 yrsLocation- BangaloreNp- 15days to ImmediateMandatory functional and technical skills along with the skills listed below:Functional skills - Regarulatory reporting experience in MiFID II, EMiR, CFTC, HKMA, JFSATechnical Skills - SQL skill sets or coding background in addition to above functional aspectsDuties________________________________________Develop expert knowledge in Regulatory requirements, processes and systems across global jurisdictionsPerform reconciliation and exception management as per the various Regulatory requirementsInvestigate and remediate issues with these reports and develop control improvementsContribute to strategic initiatives relating to these reports, for example strategic Technology developmentsImprove current processes, procedures and reports including automation of manual processesDefine and produce comprehensive project documentation in support of strategic initiatives and change management including: business/functional requirement documents, process flow diagrams and comprehensive data analysisProduce test scripts and co-ordinate / participate in testing activities with Operations and TechnologyWork with Legal, Compliance, Technology, other Operations groups and various Business units to manage change programs and issue resolution for these reportsAct as a risk manager for the firm through ongoing assessment and awareness of the regulatory environment and the firm s adherence to its reporting obligationsSkills________________________________________Bachelors degree requiredMaximum 1 years work experience in the Financial IndustryProficient in the use of MS Office productsAnalytical thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and translate strategy to executionStrong data analysis skills with a working knowledge of databasesProblem solving and documentation skills with an ability to understand complex workflowsCandidate must be proactive, enthusiastic and team orientedAccuracy and attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to organize and prioritize workload and drive results.Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new changes and new challengesWorking knowledge of financial products, e.g. Equities, Fixed Income, Exchange Traded & OTC DerivativesPrevious exposure to regulatory reporting a plusKnowledgeable about securities processing, corporate actions, and asset servicing a plus
