The candidate should be an Electronics Design Expert with a flair for Frugal Innovation, and should be able to: Derive Requirements Specifications pertaining to the Electronic Design from the System Specifications, as well as the Medical Devices Standards and Regulations Synthesize the Requirements Specifications into the Electronic Design tasks, and work with Product, System, Software, Mechanical Teams to refine the Requirements and Interfaces Work with the Project / Program Managers to Define the Design, Development and Testing Schedules and with the Manufacturing Department to define Test and Assembly Processes for Assemblies and Sub-Assemblies Design the Electronics as per the Requirements; Carry out Reliability Analysis, Generate Schematics and BOM; Get the PCBs done; Define and implement the Test and Verification Plan for Design Verifications; Debug the Electronics; Integrate into the Production Phase Prepare and present Design reviews to teams, and internal & external customers; Participate and Contribute actively towards the product certification and compliance testing processes Follow the ISO13485 Process Requirements of the Company stringently for the Development Achieve and Exceed the Design and Product Quality, Cost and Schedule requirements with the team Carry out other necessary organizational work as assignedSkills/ Knowledge/ Abilities: (UG B.Tech/ B.E. Electrical & Electronics / Electrical Communications / Instrumentation ) OR (PG M.Tech Electrical & Electronics / Electrical Communication / Instrumentation / Medical Electronics) OR Any other related UG or PG Degree with specific work or experience on Medical Electronics / Data Acquisition related to Medical Devices / Medical Devices Design / Medical Signal Processing / Medical Signal Conditioning ORCAD tools for schematic capture, circuit simulation and design verification Protocol like i2c, spi, usb, Bluetooth PCB design tool knowledge Understanding of issues related to analog and digital design such as, but not limited to, op-amps, ADC s and power supplies Troubleshooting complex design problems, embedded systems Knowledge of lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, meters, analyzers and power supplies Good working knowledge of functionality of micro-controllers Should have a working knowledge of Windows,
