Job Description

Job ResponsibilitiesPrimary Responsibilities:

  • Electronic Schematic drafting and PCB routing by working with cross functional teams like Electrical, Mechanical & Manufacturing.
  • Prepare and participate in Design reviews.
  • Read and interpret Electrical schematics, cable drawings, system interconnects and BOMs.
  • Document and release Engineering drawings & Bill of materials using Engineering Change Management.
  • Provides resolution to Design and documentation quality issues, Problem Reports / Supplier Build issues.
Other Job ResponsibilitiesMinimum QualificationEducational qualification: B.E/B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.Years of Experience: Minimum 8-years of relevant experience.Mandatory/Desirable SkillsMandatory Skills required to perform the job:
  • Very strong in Electronic schematic drafting and PCB routing using PCB CAD tools.
At least 3+ years of working experience in Cadence PCB editor, ORCAD capture and PCAD.
  • Proficient with one of the Product Life Cycle Management tools (Document Change and Release Management tools like Team center and SAP PLM).
  • Well versed with interpretation of Electronic/Electrical schematics and Design specifications.
Desirable Skills:
  • Should have good communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with semiconductor equipment industry.
  • Basic knowledge on Electronic Components selection for PCB assemblies and circuit theory.
  • Familiar with PCB standards like IPC2221 or similar.
