About PNM Suite The Proactive Network Monitoring (PNM)-Suite R&D team has been established for more than 15 years leading the consolidation and development of innovative predictive and proactive network monitoring activities occurring throughout Nokia to a holistic practice that brings new innovative services and support to our customers to drive product and services revenue.PNM-Suite application is used to monitor, analyze, operate and troubleshoot telecom networks. It brings in deep analytics, and predictive models to Telecom Care and Operations services. The software development team s mission is to design, develop, deploy, test and maintain the PNM-Suite application which supports the Predictive Care Services of Nokia. The team works in an agile environment based on a continuous integration chain in a DevOps setting. PNM is deployed in a hosted environment and delivers various services. Artificial intelligence is being built in to enhance the analytics and ability to be more predictive. Job description As member of the PNM development team you will be responsible for:
• Design , develop and deploy software solutions to address business issues
• Hands-on coding and development.
• Provide technical leadership and consultation
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform
• Work with other solution architects to understand and interpret business and system requirement specifications .
• Collaborate with peer organizations, quality assurance and end users to produce cutting-edge software solutions
• Troubleshoot architecture and design level problems quickly and provide efficient resolutions

Mentoring and guidance will be provided initially, with expectation of becoming SME within 1 year with the knowledge to provide solutions or find answers through researching and analysing source code. • REST APIs
• Microservices, and Microservice based architecture
• Springboot and Spring Data

• Understanding of CPU, LoadAvg, Memory, FileIO, etc on Linux OS.
• How to investigate causes when one or more of these goes Abnormal
• Tools to collect more data (iostat, sar, etc.)
• Filesystem management (XFS and NFS)
• Understanding of the Java VM operation and how that relates to the Linux OS
• Web servers like Tomcat/Websphere/JBOSS etc
• In depth knowledge of Network data security and VPN connectivity, IPSEC.
• MySQL/Oracle, SQL Scripting
• Database Management (both Postgresql and Mysql/MariaDB)
• Be able to look at logfiles and understand the particular errors
• Recover from failures when needed
• Intricacies of the RHEL7/CentOS7 flavor of OS
• Yum Dependency Management
• RPM package management and Repositories
• SystemD initialization/process management
• Apache HTTP process and how it interacts with Tomcat
• SSL Certificates
• ProxyForward
• AJP connector
• curl command
• TTP based APIs
• Understanding of SSH connections and TCP/IP in general
• SSH port forwarding (eg tunnelling)
• SSH Public Key Authentication (installing public keys and understanding why/how they work)
• SSH hopping from one server to another to get to a destination.
• Understanding of Cloud concepts
• Virtualization, Virtual Machines and their sizing
• Volumes that underlay our Filesystems

Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)
• Bachelor or Master degree in CSE/ECE/EEE/EI/IT
• 10+ Years of hands-on experience in a software product company or Big 5 consulting firms
• Should have 8 plus years of strong software architecture and development experience.
• Excellent knowledge across technologies such as 3G, 4G and 5G, cloud band, SON etc. Both on RAN as well as CORE.
• Self-starter capable of working on multiple simultaneous projects
• Ability to work complex issue resolutions
• Commitment to quality and passion for high availability networks.
• Breadth and depth of experience in R&D and Services/Customer Support
• Ability to work with customers, especially operational teams inside of large service provider organizations
• Strong Inter-personal/ Communication Skills.
