Job Description The Derivatives Data Management Group (DMG) focuses on the governance and management of derivatives data. This group requires a seasoned professional responsible for providing technical expertise within the group. This individual needs to understand Derivatives business processes, functions and data management concepts. This person will assist in bridging the knowledge on Data structure not only within the DDM but also with neighboring systems (ie, Omnium).This position will work to fully understand data mappings into and out of DDM and become a SME on the Omnium data structure. The ideal candidate will have a balance of business, data management and technical skills, and understand the impact of technology with regard to various business approaches. This candidate will play a lead role in the development and maintenance of the DDM and how DDM relates to Omnium. The candidate will be required to address technical aspects of DDM data flow issues and will be the main source of contact with regard to data queries.The future state of this role will look to expand upon the approach and lessons learned from OTC and help to shape the technical view on the same concepts for ETD & Collateral. This role will act as the DMG technical liaison for other E2 initiatives including Transaction/Cash Hubs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Become a SME with regard to the Omnium Data Structure and work towards reducing the risk around the knowledge gap within Omnium.Provide technical documentation where possible to allow for knowledge shares in this area.Resolve technical data flow issues with regard to DDM and derivatives data.Develop a firm understanding of the mappings into and out of DDM. Work with data architects, data modelers and CMG in maintaining the standards and consistency of the data sourcing and data distribution.Establish an overall understanding and documentation of key systems and conceptual data architecture and data models.Respond to derivative data queries as needed.
