Responsibilities will include: Active involvement with the hardware development team right from the start of the project, gathering all the information required for the software development, work allocation to the resources to meet quality and on time deliveries and maintaining documentation. The scope of deliverables demands to work on IoT platforms as well. Required Skills and Experience: Experience in past of leading a team of 4 + members which included hardware, software/ application developers and Test Engineers. 8+ years of working/ reviewing experience in C or C++, Python Must have experience on the controls of Motor Control, Heater Controls, PWM, GPIO and Sensors. Experience in Keil Knowledge of Version management tools (GIT/GitHub) Must have worked on Protocols like RS232, RS485, I2C, SPI, USB CDC, Ethernet. Experience in scripting languages like Shell scripting, bat file scripting. Experience in IOT, embedded Linux and AWS services Experience in Quantum Leap QP, UI interface development with QT. Experience with development boards like Raspberry PI and Arduino Yun Experience on IEC 61508/UL 1998 Safety standards. SDLC process compliance knowledge. Exposure on ARM processor architecture and programming knowledge Good analytical skills for reviewing for efficient coding Strong documentation and writing skills Exposure to buildroot/Yocto/Linux internals/Linux kernel/Linux device driver. Specific Functions: Understand the system requirements and hardware architecture Organize team to achieve the development targets. Develop, code, test and debug system software Capable to Review code and perform coding when required Establish a proper channel of communication between all the stakeholders.
