Job Description

Roles and responsibilities Designation: Manager HR (Only Female) Experience: 12 - 16 Years Location: KHB Industrial Area, Yelahanka New Town, Bangalore Education: Full-time MBA/ MSW Industry: Candidate must be from a Manufacturing Co. Responsibilities: - STRATEGIC HR LEADERSHIP & DIRECTION

  • Actively contribute to strategic direction of Company and the development and implementation of business goals as a key member of the Company Leadership team
  • Drive global people direction and leadership within the Company leadership team
  • Responsible for crafting, development and implementation of the Company People plan which adds tangible value to the business and is aligned with the strategic agenda of the business
  • Monitor and report progress of the Company people plans and initiatives and continually review as part of overall global people & business plans
  • Continually look to develop and implement ways to improve Company People policy, processes and systems , to provide an improved customer experience and cost effectiveness of the People operation
- TALENT & CAPABILITY DEVELOPMENT
  • Lead and develop people capability planning, succession management and talent development to ensure that Company has the right skills and leaders to deliver on its strategy and future growth opportunities
- BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP
  • Partner with the Company MD and leadership team to create successful leadership team that has aligned goals and is focused on delivering the business plan, and role models effective people leadership
  • Ensure the Company leadership team optimizes the development and potential of their people to create a succession pipeline through the effective use of talent management, learning and development and career development interactions
  • Develop and manage a local resource plan to ensure the forward thinking delivery of skills to match business objectives through selection, performance management and talent management
  • Establish credibility as trusted advisor, business coach and influencer to the Company MD and individual members of the Leadership team to ensure strategic people decisions are made and the tactical management of people issues is achieved
  • Work across the business to coach managers on practices and drive the building people capability in the business
  • Report and utilise people performance metrics to inform business decisions
  • Drive, in liaison with the Company leadership team, improvements in employee engagement through the development of enhances management & leadership within the business units
- REMUNERATION
  • To provide support and advice to the GM People & Capability along with the Company MD and Leadership team with regards to setting remuneration practices for the Company business.
  • Establishing effective local HR strategies, policies and procedures to attract, retain and develop talent.
  • Management of remuneration and employment-related matters for the CEO and Leadership team.
  • Overseeing the effective management of Company India payroll
- IR, ER, UNION RELATIONSHIP & FACTORY COMPLIANCES
  • Lead the provision of all employment and industrial relations advice to the Company MD and GM People & Capability including advising on all Leadership and Management employment agreements.
  • Ensuring Company remains a union free site
  • Strong knowledge of all compliances under Factories Act 1948 and related statutory compliances.
- HEALTH & SAFETY
  • Lead the Company India Health & Safety strategy ensuring execution of the Health & Safety action plan.
  • The effective running of the monthly Company Health & Safety Committee, reporting to the Board on all health & safety matters and proactively managing the businesss higher risk areas.
  • Ensure all Company India employees have an individual responsibility to support the commitment and to ensure that Health, Safety and Wellness in our places of work is given the highest priority
  • Ensure Company India comforts to all Health & Safety ( Factories Act 1948), the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013; and any other Indian laws governing health, Safety and Wellness on our India site.
- LEADERSHIP OF HR FUNCTION
  • Lead the India People team set and communicate clear direction, actively manage performance and the development of the HR skills and competence.
  • Drive the continuous development and improvement of the Company India People team as effective business partner to our Company India team.
  • Actively demonstrate the key competencies and leadership behaviors.
  • Keep up to date with the latest HR best practice. Share learning and input new thinking into the wider team.
