What s more, they work with engineering teams to create hardware configuration test plans in support of software development.Join us to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact as a Lab S upport Senior Engineer on our L ab Support Engineering team in Bangalore.What you ll achieve As a Lab Support Senior Engineer, you will be part of a team that is responsible for the sustainment and maintenance of our core Kubernetes clusters within a Bare Metal and Virtual infrastructure to appropriate standards and best practices in a fast-paced work environment.You will:
• Be responsible for the sustainment and maintenance of our core Kubernetes clusters within a Bare Metal and Virtual infrastructure to appropriate standards and best practices and gain working experience in VMWare Tanzu.
• Monitor Kubernetes cluster components, manage software for physical, virtual, and cloud-based infrastructures using Wavefront, Prometheus and Grafana.
• Be responsible for administering system-level procedures; service layer application; deployment creation; scheduling redundancy management and certificate management
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve problems with any Kubernetes objects like deployments, pods, namespaces, replication controllers, daemon sets, schedulers etc.
• Be involved in linux system administration on physical and virtual servers to include installation and maintaining the hardware, software, and application and provide general level client/server and SAN/storage array support.

• 5 to 8 years of proficiency in hardware, software, and operating systems: ESXi (6.5 and later), CentOS (7.0 and later), Linux Containers ( preferably Docker) and Troubleshooting skills on any K8s related issues.
• Proficiency in monitoring applications: Grafana, Nagios, Prometheus, wavefront, Solarwinds, Zabbix.
• Work Experience with Rancher, Vmware Tanzu, networking/SAN and at least some experience on NGINX / Haproxy software load-balancer.
• Good verbal and written and communication skills; Ability to multi-task, analyze, problem solve, prioritize workload and have good attention to detail.
• Bachelors or Masters Degree.
Desirable Requirements
• Scripting and coding skills: Shell, Python, Powershell, Ansible.
• Experience working with Configuration Management Systems (Git in particular) and using ServiceNow, Jira, Infoblox.
