We ve never had a greater opportunity to inspire change; setting the bar for technology to be inclusive and accessible; empowering an intelligent, sustainable, and connected world.Competency : R&D IPOSJob Summary:This is a position at Ericsson R&D Bangalore where you get to work with a team of highly motivated engineers in delivering Ericssons Multimedia Telephony Application Server (MTAS) features for VoLTE, VoWifi and other IMS enabled solutions. MTAS is Ericsson s Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) application server for IP telephony and multimedia which meets all necessary large network telephony requirements. It is designed for Voice over LTE (VoLTE) enhanced with multimedia and convergence with PSTNs. MTAS is part of Ericssons IMS solution portfolio!Within MTAS Product Development Group (PDG), Agile methodology and philosophy are practiced in spirit. A relatively flat system of cross-functional teams reporting into line managers who then report to a PDG Head.Responsibilities:

  • Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling.
  • You are continuously experimenting and learning something new.
  • Trouble shoot product issues and support our customers
  • Develop competence in technical domain
To be successful in the role, you must have
  • Excellent programming skills in C++ on Linux based platforms
  • Creative problem-solving and excellent troubleshooting / debugging skills
  • Solid understanding of Python / PERL or any scripting language
  • Adequate cross-functional skills to understand and develop / modify automated test cases
  • Comfortable with OOPS / Design Patterns / STL on Linux
  • Solid understanding of IMS nodes, SIP, MEGACO and Diameter protocols
  • Aware of IMS architecture, 3GPP, GSMA/VoLTE specifications
  • Ability to breakdown customer requirements into user-stories would be a bonus
  • Ability to articulate and lead technical discussions
Key Qualifications:Minimum years of relevant experience: 5 - 9 years of overall IMS design experience with a minimum of 2 years on a virtualized telecom carrier grade productEducation: B.
