Job Description

Administration and troubleshooting of mixed environment (physical and virtual servers).
Responsible for both Windows &. VMWare However, Windows server is prime responsibility but taking care of VMware also as a secondary responsibility.
Troubleshooting and managing Windows Server, Server 2003, 2008 and 2012.
Planning, Installation, Configuration, Management and Troubleshooting of virtual Servers/clusters.
Failover and Load balancing cluster, patch/fix, firmware upgrades, HA, DRS, Resource pool management, storage LUNs/multi-path, Host and cluster compliance etc.
Install, Setup, configure and support Wintel based environment for global client.
Checking host and virtual machine performance issues if required. On-demand customization of reports of infrastructure periodically.
Troubleshooting VERITAS and Windows cluster issues.
Working on VERITAS storage management, creating, expanding volume using veritas storage foundation.
Participate & work with Local & Global Teams, schedule/attend meetings, conference/bridge calls etc.
Updating Server Checklist, managing documentations, monthly ticket analysis/reports etc.
Good experience on basics of DNS and DHCP
