*Team Description: The Institutional Securities Group (ISG) Lending Technology team is responsible for the development and implementation of a future technology strategy to support multiple lending business lines in a number of divisions across the firms. The group is responsible for supporting all functions within each lending business, including underwriting, origination, securitization, loan servicing, asset management, and more. Role Description: We are looking for a creative and talented full stack java developer with an eye for quality and detail to lead the team build a modern lending platform that will combine and replace several internal systems, streamline business functions, and open up business opportunities. The candidate will participate as an Agile squad member and drive a UI chapter on a global team, with concentration in New York, Montreal, and India. The platform will be built as a web application and will communicate with various back end data services. Role Responsibilities: Lead full-stack feature teams to deliver complete components for broader platform integration. Greenfield development of a data platform for collecting, enriching, and performing complex queries on document/graph data structures Communicate ideas, drive user demos, and work with business stakeholders to iterate development lifecycle Create self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components Apply thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system, *A successful candidate will possess: Proficiency with Server-side Java script or type script Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design Hands on experience with Java or Python. Experience with troubleshooting web applications, familiarity with network monitoring and code profiling tools Professional, precise communication skills Looking for demonstrable abilities in: NoSQL systems such as MongoDB, MarkLogic, or Neo4J Developing software with a test-driven approach (TDD, BDD) Writing GraphQL queries or implementing a GraphQL API Self-directed learning new programming languages and databases Engaging in peer design and code reviews Prior experience working in an agile/Scrum delivery methodology
