Senior Java developer to join the Portfolio Accounting and Performance Team. The system provides P&L calculation, Posiiton keeping functionality for multiple business units in the firm. The system is a distributed java and DB2/Sybase architecture with multiple components processing multiple asset classes like equities, binds, options,Swaps and other OTC derivatives. The system has roadmap of many years of renovation and scaling up in pipeline with planned deployment of distributed caches, cloud deployment, machine learning etc.The Role involves 1. Working in a fast paced environment on varied projects from short term tactical enhancements to strategic initiatives that impact multiple firm systems and business groups. 2. Working with a global team in Newyork and working directly with business users in prime brokerage, fund admin, firm controllers and Tax reporting.3. Working in all phases of SDLC, from requirments to Prod Support.Skills required:Strong commercial java experience ( Spring, AOP, multithreading etc)Good concepts of RDBMS and basic SQL., *Strong commercial java experience ( Spring, AOP, multithreading etc)Good concepts of RDBMS and basic SQL.
