Job Description

    Required Skills: Bachelor s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or related engineering disciplineMinimum of 8+ years of experience in the field of expertiseStrong analytical problem-solving skills, including independent judgment and decision-making skills, where problems are very unusual and extremely difficultDemonstrated communication and interpersonal skills required to build relationships with team members and customers to solve problems and resolve issuesPhysics-based understanding of the Voice-of-CustomerAbility to effectively communicate issues, status and recommendations to leadershipProven ability in project management skills and ability to teach othersAbility to prioritize work with only limited direction from manager Desired Skills: Masters or PhD in Engineering with an emphasis on ControlsExperience related to specifying physics of dynamic electromechanical systems (e.g., Brakes, Chassis, Suspension, Electrification, Thermal, etc.)Experience with calibration, software, and controls development.Experience leveraging simulation environments and plant modeling for testing or requirements generation is a plus (e.g., Matlab/Simulink, CarSim, GT-Power, D-Space, ETAS, etc.)Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., Doors, Jama Connect, codebeamer, etc.)Experience with change management tools (e.g., IBM Rational Team Concert, Jira, etc.)Experience with OBD regulations requirementsExperience with safety critical systems ,
