Junior Software Developer The company is presently looking to hire a Software Developer who will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the entire technical infrastructure of the company. Roles and Responsibilities The Software Engineer will be responsible for implementing efficient and maintainable software applications for the companys next generation large scale online trading network platform in an innovative and deadline driven environment. The candidate will also be responsible for analysing user requirements, creating and documenting system designs and coding and testing software. General Requirements The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in designing, developing, implementing and deploying large scale, high traffic, high availability, consumer- facing or enterprise web applications, and will have exhibited strong technical skills. Minimum educational qualifications are a BE/ BS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science. Full familiarity and extensive experience in the full software development life cycle is expected. The person must be highly capable of performing under tight timelines and be adaptable to the vagaries typical in modern software startups. The candidate must display poise and skilful execution. Skills Hands- on experience with all aspects of modern Web application development, including: J2SE 6.0+ and Java EE 5+ LAMJ stack Java Web frameworks [Spring, Struts] Web UI development technologies [PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, XML/ JSON] Familiarity with open source implementations of these technologies is highly desirable.,
