Job Description

Brief about the JD:

Description:Language Specialization : Chinese/ Japanese/Thai/KoreanNature of work could include: Timely and accurate day-to-day cash application involving usage of foreign language Handle queries and payment allocations for language depended entities Responsible to meet assigned objectives and support team in achieving department objectives Work with international counter parts with interpersonal skills in resolving issues Ensure zero defects and escalations, adhere to TAT defined Provide data (metrics, volume etc.) for dashboard reporting to the Production Lead on demand Support Production Lead in performing Root Cause Analysis on daily operational issues Taking part in language learning circles and language enhancement programs Works on Accounts Payable process that are complex in nature and require problem resolution and independent judgment. Works under limited supervision and normally receives no instruction on routine work and general instructions given for new assignments. Deliver of key metrics - KPIs within a broad scope under little supervision Drive connects with AP Process Design and R&C on open process challenges Effectively and Efficiently driving Team Productivity Collaboration with Business Group with regular connect to supports complex customer queries, typically without escalation Excel country specific process knowledge and monitor to ensure we are aligned Provides significant support to team to drive/Identifies opportunities of new assignments / process enhancement Understanding the external and internal audit deliverables and be proactive in responding to queries Meeting all the statutory deadlines as per the respective Country Controllership requirements Possess the WHT and VAT knowledge, ensure accounting of it is accurate at invoice posting stage Ontime delivery of MEC activities/JEs and perform AP Payout reconciliation need base for strategic vendors Support reporting the health of the process with stakeholders on regular basis with use of presentation tool like Powerbi Establish control environment to improve Accuracy Metrics of the team Focus on enhancing self -learning to use new tools and techniques in the accounts payable process domain Effective collaboration with expenditure process teams to drive quick resolution on dependence cases/escalation if any Perform monthly reconciliation and review QUALIFICATION: Graduate in any finance stream preferred Graduate and higher qualification for Language SKILLS: Proficiency in the foreign language Fluent in the foreign language. Both written and spoken Good English communication skills (oral and written) Knowledge of MS-Office package, preferred with good excel skills Experience of working in a multi-national environment / cross-functional teams is an advantage Sound accounting knowledge is preferred
