Role Summary/Purpose: We are looking to grow our AI Computer Vision team at Global Research & are looking for topnotch researchers to be part of this exciting journey. As a group, we Innovate and execute on theR&D strategy around image analytics aligned our healthcare and industrial businesses in a broad setof areas including MRI, CT, Ultrasound, X-Ray for healthcare and automatic defect recognition,object recognition & tracking for industrial inspection and related applications. Essential Responsibilities: The Artificial Intelligence Computer Vision Lab is passionate about signal and image processing forUltrasound, MRI, CT, X-ray and Physiological Monitoring data as well as real time image analysis forindustrial applications for automatic defect recognition. The applicant should be highly passionate and an enthusiastic player for solving problems in medicaland/or industrial imaging by building and implementing algorithms for image processing, machinelearning, and deep learning. The applicant should have shown research experience in the areas of image analytics & signalprocessing with a strong mathematical skill and ability to connect the physics with advances inArtificial Intelligence techniques. The candidate is expected to document results in patent disclosures and high-quality peer reviewedpublications. Should be eager to work in a global team of experienced and dynamic researchers to develop nextgeneration biomedical breakthroughs. He/she should be a good great team mate and willing to get involved into interdisciplinary research. Qualifications/Requirements: PhD in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or related Engineering field or Computer science/Biomedical engineering with specialization in image processing, signal processing, orinverse problems. Masters degree holders with demonstrated research credentials in the fields of AI are alsoencouraged to apply. Specific areas of required expertise are: Image analytics, Deep Learning,Inverse problems in Imaging, Clinical decisioning, super resolution reconstruction. Expertise in Deep Learning and Computer Vision/ Image processing, Tensor Flow, Pytorch andKeras is required. Desired Characteristics: - Basic understanding of medical imaging or biology is desirable but not necessary. - Basic understanding of industrial inspection is desired but not necessary. - Strong foundations in design, analysis, and implementation of algorithms in different computingarchitectures is desired.,
