Careers Linux Administrator Oneindia Openings - Oneindia No. of Positions Graduate / Post Graduate Required skill sets: Install, operate and manage Linux systems on the physical serrs. Configure Linux Systems with the Virtual environment. Duties & Responsibilities: Install and manage Linux (Fedora/ CentOS/ Ubuntu) serrs. Install, configure and manage Apache and Nginx web serrs. Management of MySQL services and MySQL replication services. Management of caching serrs like Varnish. Handling alerts from various system monitoring applications like Nagios. Support the internal IT systems and corporate networks. Assist delopment teams on Network and Linux queries. Assist in ndor management activities for IT- related requirements. Ensure the web serrs, hardware and software are operating accurately. Maintain websites for clients and businesses. Examine and analyze site traffic. Customized installation of web serrs such as Apache / Nginx using source files. Regulate and manage access rights of different users on website. Decide how sites content will be delired to the Internet. At least 3 years of work experience Hands on experience in installing and managing Fedora, CentOS and Ubuntu Linux systems in any environment. Hands on experience in Apache / Nginx web serrs. Hands on experience in installing PHP with Apache / Nginx and MySQL. Hands on experience in configuring at least two li websites using Apache PHP and MySQL. Exposure to MySQL database, MySQL clustering and replication. Setting up kernel parameters. Hands on experience in virtual machines. Knowledge on cloud computing. Basics shell scripting in - bash- Mandatory Skills: RedHat Certification: RHCE is a MUST. 2. Candidate should ha experience with corporate network and not from the web- hosting company of L1 or L2 lel support. 3. Candidate should ha experience in working with core linux and should be capable in customized installation of PHP, MySQL and Apache/ Nginx. 4. Candidate should ha real- time experience in at least two running websites, which can be shown at the time of interview. Mandatory: Red Hat Certified Engineer.,
