Responsibilities Performs DNS configuration changes in response to client issues Schedules and creates change control records and performs configuration of DNS elements as directed for small-scale projects in conjunction with change control policies and procedures Performs Tier 2 and 3 support functions for DNS problems in accordance with problem management process involving problems in DNS. Tier 4 support is Engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME) engagement level Perform Proxy changes. Perform DNS JOB through QIP tool and CLI on server. Technical Skills UNIX knowledge Solaris OS, UNIX syslog file system layout daemons (stop, start, reload) logging of services, log rotations Programming Bourne / Korn Shell Scripting, (Perl would be a bonus) UNIX regular expressions SQL Communication skills Clear and concise writing skills for e-mail communications. Reporting with either spreadsheets or HTML formatting. Clear Business English to handle any phone call escalations. Able to learn new systems (ECM, MACD). Would be nice if they knew QIP 6.2 schema DNS (named) Solaris package creation Qualifications: College degree, diploma, specialized systems training from NIIT, APTECH or any other recognized institute is a plus Typically 5-7 years of experience Experience with large scale organizations with ability to handle big infrastructure,
