Job Description

(Include any other points specific to the team/ project is required) Technical Skills:

  • RACF/ ACF2 Mainframe Specialists perform support functions and related activities required to control access to facilities and logical system
Process Skills:
  • Must have significant prior experience on ACF2 / RACF /UNIX and be able to demonstrate successful performance in a similar role.
  • Experienced in working within a Service Management environment with a very good understanding of the processes, procedures, and system support tools used within an IT environment.
  • Highly articulate and driven, with the ability to escalate and delegate as required.
  • Assist in the analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance of the applications.
  • Conduct Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC) review for current and new applications and scheduled access validation of critical applications. This also includes Privilege Access.
  • Partner with other Security-related initiatives within Information Technology (IT) and various business units to discuss access issues explain access rights and manage the process.
  • Follow up on access management deficiencies identified in risk reviews, self-assessments, risk assessments, and internal and external audits
  • Ensure appropriate remediation measures are implemented.
  • Drive the development and maintenance of new group structure to include Human, Non-Human, and System accounts.
  • Perform analysis, design, documentation, and testing of enhancements associated with new or existing Security functionality
  • Perform unit testing of new Security/system modifications to ensure that the specifications are met and there is no adverse impact on system performance and functionality
  • Review and process all project requests in a timely manner to meet Service Level Agreements
  • Complete all Technical access requests/tasks correctly the first time to prevent unauthorised access and material audit findings
  • Manage inboxes inappropriate My Service for outstanding work and action any change requests.
  • Excellent TSO, JCL, IBM UTILITIES, TSS UTILITIES, JES2, and ISPF a must
  • Strong knowledge of mainframe Unix (LINUX) Systems service required
BehaviouralSkills:Provide timely feedback to the Duty Manager regarding issues affecting the quality of service to the customer.Escalate to third-level support if incidents cannot be resolved in a timely manner.Identify and complete required personal development training/education programsAbout the practice/ Project:
  • Create and delete user profiles; create and modify user profiles on ACF2 / RACF /Unix/ servers.
  • Administers password access.
  • Troubleshoots all IBM I Operating System Security.
  • Monitors and maintains the security databases on multiple systems.
  • Provide technical support for security and access related issues
