Job Description The purpose of this role is to lead Global Business Services (GBS) Bangalore Hub s financial planning & analysis and provide finance business partnering and insightful decision support to GBS Leadership team so as to meet the strategic goals. Strategic financial planning: Act as Finance business partner for GBS Leadership team & GBS Global CFO by leading the efforts for strategic planning, financial target setting and budgeting. Collaborate across the ma- trix organization to monitor ongoing forecast. Support GBS leadership in defining key performance indicators for the business and under- standing the cost drivers. Drive delivery of financial targets by providing strategic insights & interpretation to GBS Lead- ership team and be a key enabler in meeting organization goals. Enabling business cases: Explore opportunities and provide finance business partnership to Transition & Transformation managers in driving new investment analysis & business development projects in line with Bangalore site strategy. Lead ad hoc projects and financial analysis, including scenario planning and ROI analysis, in order to optimize operational and resource allocation decision making. Subject Matter Expertise and Stakeholder Management: Understands Alcon s finance organization, accounting standards, tools and processes well, and builds reputation as a Subject Matter Expert in financial matters. Provides comprehensive advice on a wide range of issues; evaluates, interprets, and makes the decision to select the right course of action. Interacts with internal departments to provide interpretation of complex information, and to understand how the needs of other parts of the business and aspects may impact the organization. Proactively benchmark industry practices to ensure long- term competitiveness, e. g. pricing models. Compliance & Reporting: Understand GBS requirements and lead all key financial reporting efforts & compelling presentations (regular, recurring and/ or ad- hoc) related to business financial performance. Actively monitor risks & opportunities and provide early warning signals. Identify corrective measures and gain alignments for implementation. Drive implementation of mitigation plan with high sense of urgency and outcome orientation. Lead efforts on regular monitoring, risk identification, financial compliance and controls for the GBS Bangalore Hub. Represent GBS in Internal & External Audits, and lead corrective action projects/ assignments to continuously improve processes. Be a champion for good governance & continuous improvement. Work closely with Tax & Legal team to comply with Indian tax regulations. Minimum requirements CA / MBA in Finance English (written and spoken) Minimum: 8 years experience in Finance business partnering in an MNC Desirable: 8- 12 years experience as BPA in an MNC s Global Shared services center,
