Job Description

    • Role: As an Innovation Manager for Autonomous driving , you help drive strategic innovation programs to build impactful and meaningful innovations in India for the world.
    Job Responsibilities:
    • Closely working with the diverse R&D teams to understand current programs, uncover innovation opportunities, and develop them through a structured approach
    • Developing the innovation process to be more strategic, participative, integrating various streams from different silos, and effectively collaborating with the global ecosystem
    • Tracking and contributing to various initiatives such as improving the culture of Innovation, innovation councils, improving awareness, market research, Idea generation, Hackathons, bootcamps, Prototyping, Startup/University engagement and Intrapreneurship/Incubator/Accelerator support, etc.
    • Interface with the Business leaders and Innovation management teams to track Innovation and IP KPIs and drive strategic initiatives
    • Mentoring and training the inventors in their innovation journey, developing innovation competencies of the organization.

    • Excellent communication, inter-personal and networking skills
    • Quick learner with passion for learning, and tracking technological progress in automotive industry
    • Ability to understand and go deep in diverse/complex/emerging technological areas relevant to autonomous driving domains
    • Business Acumen, Research and Strategic Mindset- Understanding business strategy, market trends and business model
    Education: Bachelors or Master s Degree in Electrical & Electronics/Computer Science/Information Technology/Automotive or equivalent. An additional certification in management or innovation management (Design thinking, TRIZ level 2) would be advantage. Experience: Minimum 10 years as R&D engineer/developer/researcher in a reputed organization. Additional exposure related to project management in automotive related technologies such as AI/ML, ADAS, Cloud computing, Electric mobility, battery management, embedded software, Data analytics, Connected Cars, UI/UX, OTA, Cyber security would be bonus.
