Performance Measurement/KPI s
• Closure of open points or escalation: 10 days maximum
• Compliance to Engineering WorkPackage (variation orders excluded): 100%
• Quality of his delivery (included sub-contractor delivery): 1st time quality rate > 90% (quality rate = modification validated OK / number of applied modification)
• Respect of the delivery planning (included sub-contractor delivery) = 100% OTD
• Application level of standard PPL = 100%
• Configuration management of his deliverables = 100% of deliverables properly managed into configuration database
• Respect of Cost allocation
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES :
• Delivery of Car bodyshell Engineering outputs, in compliance with the Engineering QCD commitments.
• Able to mange the complete DFQ & QCD of a Project till the project closer from beginning.
• Deploys process & standard in accordance with ALSTOM internal & Customer specific needs on projects .
• Deploys Global process on the work as per WOW of ALSTOM.
• Ability to design & lead multiple area of work on NPD / carryover product
  • Organizes and leads his work package reviews for the project he/she is in charge
  • Manages Risk Assessment and Mitigation Plan,
  • Manage the Planning of project for CBS Domain and align with stake holder the delivery schedule.
  • Identify the resource requirement based on planning and align the work plan.
  • Reports his targets to Train Design Engineer/Metier manager (QCD consolidation and risks).
• Good understanding of vehicle architecture and systems and their methods of installation.
• Supports TDE / PREM & work with engineer in establishing product design & reviews to meet the project deadlines.
• Supports industrialization and production teams during manufacturing ramp-up.
• Defines and monitors the conformity Mechanical Sub-Systems deliveries and other providers with project needs.
• Good awareness of the product cost drivers and an ability to optimize solutions to achieve a cost-effective product that meets the functionality and performance requirements.
• Able to work & travel to other sites of ALSTOM to support global projects based on need , & also travel to Industrial site to support manufacturing.
Educational Requirements Bachelor of Engineering / Master in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering Mandatory:
• Graduated / Post Graduate from Premier Engineering College.
Experience Mandatory:
• 11+ years experience on core structural design of rolling stock / automotive BIW / Aircraft structure.
• Experience of structural design & Sheet metal Design
• Good knowledge on the sheet metal, extrusion manufacturing & related processes.
• Must have knowledge about welding processes, welding standards
• DFEMA knowledge & exaction on projects.
• Functional Tolerancing & Dimensioning using tools
• Strong CATIA , DMA ENOVIA skill to perform design activity.
• Desirable:
• Rolling stock structure design
• Knowledgeable of CRF manufacturing
• Meshing tool & basic hand calculation
