Job Description

DescriptionPosition at MediaComMediaCom is looking for an energetic, self-motivated Senior Director - Investment with 12-15 years of experience. The resource will be responsible for a range of media buying related work on the brand including working on media buying strategies for clients, ideating, negotiating & executing integrations, managing relationships with clients, internal stakeholders & media owners. Would be in a different pedestal if successful on these accounts.In this role, your goals will be:In three months

  • Complete knowledge of your clients benchmarks
  • Completely hands-on with the deal structuring, how to approach negotiations, standard SOPs for the clients etc.
In six months,
  • Start doing deals on all the channels.
  • Set-up process to enhance the overall buying product and scout for opportunities for trading products
In 12 months
  • Run the show all by yourself with guidance/direction from the National Head / Branch Head
  • Work on the overall buying strategy for your set of clients
  • Start working on enhancing internal and external relationships.
What your day job looks like at Mediacom
  • Understand the media marketplace through meeting with key media owners and vendors
  • Handling media buying for P&G s investments across offline & online mediums
  • Manage, motivate and lead a team of media buyers to ensure delivery on buying KPIs of P&G
  • Work closely with media planning and buying teams to deliver innovative media partnerships
  • Negotiate best in class media rates and placements for P&G
  • Define a long term media owner roadmap and strategy for P&G
  • Ensure all investment records are maintained for audit best practice
  • Work closely with the GroupM trading community
  • Provide investment best practice to Planning & Buying team
  • Provide POV to the client on a time-to-time basis on the latest happenings in the market.
