Job Description

    Responsibilities :- Overall Annual Vision, Plan and Goal (OKR) Setting for their categories- You will own the customer experience, growth and P&L of this category, from deciding the right selection and pricing strategy, to shaping the user experience.- After defining the vision & plan for the category, you will be responsible for delivering this while working closely with the partner teams of user-growth, product, fulfillment, etc. - Identify, lead and drive initiatives for non incremental growth by identifying key levers, presenting to Sr Leadership on the detailed problem definition (Problem First Session), present how we should solve it (Working Session) and drive that process to execution- Represent the overall Business team on the larger cross functional projects (Eg:- Search, Ops, User Growth, Discovery, etc)- Build/grow your team to their full potential and deliver results through themRole Model the Meesho Mantras :Must-Have Skills :- 8-12 years of experience post BE/MBA from Tier-1 premier Institutes.- Successful candidates must have experiences in working with stakeholders across different groups/orgs and delivering projects successfully- Strong problem discovery to break down 10x opportunities and also figure hygiene areas of improvement for the category and Meesho business as a whole- High ownership to plan and deliver on business related goals: thinking like an entrepreneur and managing all your dependencies - Ruthless prioritization skills between immediate, medium and long term goals- Successful candidate will come with a strong experience of managing a team of 5-10 peopleSome of the focus areas could include :- Develop a thorough understanding of the product and category, customer behavior and existing gaps in the market while monitoring new developments in the competitive landscape- Build a selection strategy and plan to solve existing gaps for customers and seller strategy to execute on the selection plan- Drive and communicate clear launch plans, work with stakeholders across teams and deliver to the launch plan. Internal stakeholders you will work with include product and tech, fulfilment, experience and user growth. - P&L optimization and planning - own business operational strategy including both financial and operational inputs/outputs, forecasting, monitoring, and reporting.- Clear, effective communication to present customer backward view, decision points or data based arguments that enable delivering on the goal.- Relentless program management to deliver on critical goals in compressed timeframe- You will be one of the few senior category folks to own strategic pieces, that decide the roadmap for Meesho business plans over the next 5 years e.g. new businesses to launch, roadmap for sale events, outside-in research of consumer wallet share, etc.Why should you join Meesho Meesho is a leading social commerce marketplace enabling anyone to start their small business in India.
