To help support this growth we are looking for experienced software engineering professionals. In this role, you will work on WLAN Software GUI tools at the application layer. These are GUI applications to interact with the WLAN drivers for configuration of WLAN networks, link management, and generally development of user interface for applications like Wi-Fi direct, QoS etc primarily for the Windows Operating Systems (Windows XP, Vista, Win 7, Win 8 etc) . Additionally you are expected to also work on and deliver Install shield based delivery platforms for the GUI applications. The role is based out of the team in Bangalore, India. The job responsibilities include: Working on software GUI applications for WLAN chipsets. Scale the organization by increasing efficiency. Own and drive all software GUI application development activities (including all Software GUI & Install shield deliverables) assigned with diligence, for the WLAN team. Maintain, enhance and simplify existing Windows GUI tools with detailed hands-on individual development within the WLAN BU. Respond to and resolve emergency issues. This may happen during non-business hours. Other duties as assigned Skills and Requirements: B. E/ M. E/ BTech/ MTech in Computer Science/ Information Technology or MCA, plus a minimum of 2-15 years of software GUI development in Windows platforms. Successful candidate need to have the following skills and qualifications: Must have strong technical skills, specifically in Windows GUI application development using Windows SDK, Win32 API s, Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC) and . Net Technologies viz. , C#, VC++, etc. Candidates without strong hands-on technical skill should not apply. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are a must. Must be able to write plans, explanations and coordinate with multiple geographical sites. Top-notch knowledge of GUI concepts and guidelines is required. Must have experience with Install shield based application packaging and delivery. Must have worked with a geographically distributed organization.
