We are funded and profitable.Job Description We are looking for a strong mobile app developer who welcomes a challenging engineering and design environment. . The primary focus will be to implement terrific user experiences for video playing apps that ensure the security of our customerscontent while providing a seamless experience for viewers. You will be working with our candid and collaborative team, where your knowledge and application of cutting-edge mobile technologies will address our customersneeds in the media space. Youll also help ensure solid application performance and an excellent user experience. At Indee, we value speed from concept to shipping immensely. Expect to ship to production within your first week on the job. As long as your code is implemented cleanly and passes the test to meet our high quality expectations, itll go out within a day or two. ResponsibilitiesDeveloping new features and user interfaces from wireframe modelsEnsuring the best performance and user experience of the applicationWriting clean, performant, readable, and testable codeEngaging with back-end developers, designers, and the rest of the team to deliver well-architected and industry leading solutionsBuilding features using the lean methodology, be familiar with quick prototyping and MVPs for quick launchesHandle deployment automation/ configuration managementDocument, review, code and provide feedback on technical designsSkillsExtensive knowledge about mobile app development. This includes the whole process, from the first line of code to publishing in the store(s)Deep knowledge of iOS (bonus points for familiarity with Android)Familiarity with RESTful APIs and mobile libraries for networking (Retrofit, axios, Alamofire, etc)Familiarity with the JSON formatSecurity is crucial - You understand security concepts and technologies deeply and write code to protect us and our usersExperience with profiling and debugging mobile applicationsStrong knowledge of architectural patterns MVP, MVC, MVVM, and Clean Architecture and the ability to choose the best solution for the appFamiliarity with the workings of HTTP and TCP/ IPUnderstanding mobile app design guidelines on each platform and being aware of their differencesProficiency in Kotlin/ Java/ Swift/ Objective-C/ JavaScript/ C#, whichever language you use in your appsYou ship fast.
