About Cloud & Network Services Cloud and Network Services is a leading Nokia business group that offers Network solutions on Core, Business and Enterprise segments, as well as Cloud solutions and Cognitive Services. It is a newly formed business group, that includes most of the former Nokia Software business, Nokia s enterprise solutions, core network solutions including both voice and packet core, and managed and advanced services from its former Global Services unit. This unit will also act as a delivery channel of certain products from other business groups to enterprise customers. Cloud and Network Services (CNS) will target growth by leveraging the industry transition to cloud-based delivery, network-as-a-service business models, and software-led value creation.Job Description As an Automation Engineer or System Test engineer, you will validate the components and applications, will be responsible for the quality and automation of the product. You will perform testing and automation on day-to-day on large applications in Nokia Business Applications-Orchestration and Fulfilment product portfolio. Key responsibilities: Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans, scenario analysis and test cases for Functional, High Availability, Upgrade and Security testing. Specialist in automating test areas with a close understanding of business scenarios, tools etc. Responsible for product deliverables with good quality Able to deploy applications in specified environment and create required test data Able to analyze the logs and monitoring bottlenecks and provide details to get them addressed. Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with Development and Test teams to foster a team environment Requirements: Experience in testing telecom/IP based products and functional and High availability test areas, with excellent problem-solving skills. Having knowledge and preferably experience in automated testing (e.g. Robot Framework, Cucumber) Continuous Integration (e.g. Jenkins and GIT), Linux, agile methodologies and DevOps are requirements for the job. Basic knowledge of containers, databases, security in software development and some scripting language like Python are valuable assets in the selection process. Preference to work in a team format and actively share know-how with colleagues. Good communication is needed. Candidate should be able to take ownership to get things done collaborating in a team environment. Working in cloud-based environments like AWS is preferred. Understanding of the cloud-native principles along with hands-on docker, Kubernetes and helm is required.
