Job Description

    *
    1. This project is part of the DMO GDPR program with target to ensure the SAP system owned by DMO is GDPR compliant, i.e. archiving & deletion of personal data in SAP system in a controlled manner that is no longer used for day-to-day business activities based on the residence & retention rules. Experience :
    2. 4-6 years of experience in SAP Data Archiving and ILM.
    3. Skills Required:
    4. Should have at least 5-6 years of working experience in implementing and handling SAP Data Archiving and ILM projects focused on GDPR.
    5. Should have taken part in at least 2 to 3 end-to-end implementations of SAP Data Archiving and ILM projects focused on GDPR.
    6. Maintaining different data protection settings, creating and maintaining Application Rule Variants and Rule Groups for master data archiving.
    7. Thorough testing of different archiving test cases and scenarios before implementation in Production. Providing archiving test cases for User Acceptance Testing. Doing TAANA analysis on tables to find out proper data for archiving.
    8. Troubleshooting, investigating and fixing issues related to data archiving solution and issues raised by clients and customers.
    9. Creating and maintaining all the required documentations related to Data Archiving Setup, implementations, test documents, technical specification etc.
    10. Destroying expired data using different destruction methods available in ILM.
    11. Creating and maintaining legal holds on data as per customer requirements as part of Legal Hold Management.
    12. Running EOP checks, blocking, unblocking, archiving and deletion of master data to comply with GDPR
    13. Proposing and maintaining different methods for accessing archived data. Creation and filling archive info structures as per customer and audit requirements.
    14. Creating and maintaining variants, attributes both static and dynamic for different archiving and deletion reports.
    15. Scheduling and monitoring different archiving and deletion jobs in Production. Investigating failing archiving jobs and taking appropriate actions to ensure successful completion of jobs.
    16. Roles and Responsibilities:
    17. Involving in day-to-day archiving activities using archiving transaction codes and reports.
    18. Analyzing DB growth, tables and finding archiving objects and proposing archiving and housekeeping solutions. Defining archiving and housekeeping strategies for tables with no archiving objects or custom tables.
    19. Configuration and implementation of different technical and functional archiving and ILM objects for archiving and deletion as per requirements using SAP ADK (Archive Development Kit) and SAP ILM (Information Lifecycle Management) framework in accordance with GDPR compliance.
