Job Description

    The Intel Chrome OS Integration team is looking for skilled software engineers to join a growing and high energy team to contribute in an Open Source environment. As the Chrome OS Integration Engineer, you will be performing Integration of kernel and driver patches from all domains to Google kernel source. You will be Collaborating closely with chrome OS and Open Source driver maintainers to enhance the features or for productization of the feature in chrome OS software stackQualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Electrical/Electronics/others with 3+ years of experience or Masters degree in any domain with 2+ years of experience in software development. Excellent coding skills in C/C++ with experience in writing production level software. Knowledge of data structures, computer architecture, operating systems, and multithreaded programming. Hands on experience in development of kernel device drivers or modules Kernel device driver or module debugging skills. Good to have understanding or experience/knowledge on virtualization technology - hypervisor/VMM/KVM/Qemu etc Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability in ramping and learning of new technologies or components. Ability to work independently, proactive, multitask effectively and exhibit strong influencing and leadership skills with a strong customer orientation. Hands on experience in Chrome OS or Chromium OS development is added advantage Working knowledge of git or version control tools.
