Job Description

    This position is responsible to participate in Operations activities including, but not limited to, product setup, user maintenance, internal / external customer support, and device/content management (CM). A person in this position is a technical contributor with strong knowledge of and experience in PowerShell scripting, website administration and installation including software and hardware troubleshooting, and content managementResponsibilities
    • Administer websites by configuring products, brands, users etc. by following the agreed upon process of Operations Management and the workflows approved by the Operations leadership.
    • Build and configure operating systems, both server and PC based to support and test packages and test software as required by the project
    • Create and deliver CM packages to devices including but not limited to server, data collection devices, terminals, PC, laptop, tablet and printers
    • Monitor and report managed end point devices and server performance to validate package delivery, identify potential problems and bottlenecks
    • Diagnose and resolve content delivery host platform and supporting systems.
    • May lead and direct others in multiple regions (lower level support teams) while providing technical guidance to resolve issues.
    • As part of higher-level technical support the individual would be required to work with lower levels of support teams and deliver based on agreed project commitments.
    • Build packages using PowerShell scripting and test scripted packages to distribute data, software and updates, etc. via proprietary software.
    • May be asked to provide support through the pre-sales cycle. May be asked to participate during customer presentations, product demonstrations, and / or product installations / implementations.
    Required Competencies
    • Required
      • Experience in Operations activities; preferably in website administration.
      • Strong knowledge of PowerShell and/or other scripting languages
      • Strong experience with Windows and its command-line interface.
      • Knowledge of MS Windows, MS Server and VMware ESX.
      • Excellent communication skills are a key requirement.
    • Desired
      • Knowledge of network protocols like HTTP, TCP/IP etc.
      • Knowledge and experience with Windows / Linux OS.
      • Technical certification or coursework focused on networking principles, hardware or software, operating systems or scripting desired.
      • Programming knowledge Any language
      • Knowledge of quality assurance testing processes and tools
      • Windows Server 2003 and Server 2008 Administration.
      • SQL (Structured Query Language) Concepts and experience Medium level.
      • MCSA-Windows Server 2008 Active Directory, Configuring ( Microsoft Certified)
    EducationBachelor s Degree or Equivalent is required.Experience
    1. Required around 2 to 4 years of experience with 1 to 2 years of experience in Operations activities (preferably in website administration) troubleshooting, server administration and content management activities.
