Job Description

Oracle SOA Senior Developer to join our team in Bangalore , Karn taka (IN-KA) , India (IN) .

As Oracle SOA Developer, you will be mostly involved in Migrating existing tibco applications to Oracle SOA using either BEPL or OSB. Supporting and maintaining existing applications, debugging the production/UAT issues, bug fixes to the existing code, working on change requests part of enhancement, Monitoring applications and enhancement of existing applications. This position requires communicating to onsite as well as customer on need basis to resolve the issues and providing solutions

Role Responsibilities:

  • Involved in migrating existing tibco applications to Oracle SOA applications.
  • Come up with new design for migration tibco applications to Oracle SOA.
  • Develop new Oracle SOA applications which are now in tibco technology.
  • Involve in all documentation.
  • Provide Oracle SOA consultation to existing team and build Oracle SOA capability in team.
  • Guide, Mentor and leading juniors in the team.
  • Debugging the issues
  • Providing the Bug fixes
  • Providing support to the Oracle applications.
  • Regular monitoring of applications
  • Enhancement of existing applications
  • Providing technical expertise to resolve the issues
  • Designing Oracle MFT which is now built in Tibco.
  • Work with different stakeholders like Onshore Project Manager, Architects, Testers, Environment teams.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience leading large design efforts and coordinating project teams of 5 or more members
  • Coming up new innovative ways to doing things like better monitoring
  • Maintain good relationship with offshore as well as onsite team members
  • Think out of box to resolve the issues.
  • Need to be more proactive than reactive
  • Eager to learn new tools and technologies required for the project
  • Good debugging and reverse engineering skills

Mandatory skills:

  • Very good communication skills
  • Strong expertise in architecting, designing and implementation of SOA based applications Oracle SOA Suite, BPEL, ESB, BAM , enterprise Adapters and Business Rules Engine (BRE), Event Driven Architecture(EDA), web services(REST and XML) and XML technologies (WSDL, SOAP, REST, XML, XSD, XSLT).
  • Experience in SOA governance and maturity models.
  • Experience with SOA implementations to address distributed service transaction requirements with support for standards such as WS-Coordination, WS-Atomic Transaction, WS-BPEL, WS Security etc.
  • Expert understanding of deployment strategies for distributed and multi-tiered applications.
  • Strong experience in Object Oriented Analysis and Design and UML notation.
  • Experience in documenting technical designs, using flow charts, class diagrams, sequence diagrams, activity diagrams, data flow diagrams, database schemas, descriptive software component documentation, and wireframes.
  • Ability to write complex SQL queries and stored procedures and improve performance of queries.
