Our comprehensive wide area networking (WAN) solutions enable our customers to build and operate automated, secure, and high-performance networks at massive scale helping to interconnect people and things from any broadband access modality to and among - edge clouds, central clouds, the Internet, and other services and data centers.Job DescriptionThe Nokia Test Automation Services team is looking for a highly motivated software developer with a solid foundation in Python coding and Continuous Integrational and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) experience to join the IP/Optical Networks Test Automation Services team to meet the challenges and growth of Test Automation Services for Nokia IP/Optical products.The Test Automation developer role encompasses a range of responsibilities in the area of test automation, design and implementation. The candidate should have extensive experience in 4G / 5G network solution validation. Preference is given to candidates who also have experience in modeling and implementing test automation with ROBOT framework.The work is collaborative with fellow team members and stakeholders in multi-site and multi-time zone environment. Candidate must demonstrate highly adaptable mindset and accepting of change and priorities. Candidate we seek are by nature team players, actively share knowledge to elevate team capability and be an advocate of the test automation product and solutions.Job Responsibilities & CompetenciesFeature research and requirements analysis, prototyping, and implementation with iterative designROBOT framework keyword creation for test automationTest Framework common and utility library developmentProblem investigation and defect resolutionOptimization and performance analysisWork as part of a team using agile methodologiesProduct build and continuous integration and deployment processes improvements.Strong communication with management, team-leads and product owners to accomplish business goals.Peer code reviews and one who has principles to deliver qualityDevelop and mentor new team membersWrite and maintain product and design documentationDesire to deliver product training via formal settings and social mediaInteract with end client and be advocate of test automation awesomenessRemote/On-site support of customerQualificationsMinimum 5 years experience in 4G network solution validation and automation of vEPC protocols and signaling.Minimum 2 years proficiency of using ROBOT FrameworkMinimum 2 years proficiency of PythonDemonstrated expertise at creating common frameworks and libraries for test automationDemonstrated technical savviness to learn on fly and prototype a solution with new and unknown tools and technologies.Experienced in creating unit and automated test cases/suites for NFVsExperienced in development environment with Linux, GIT, JIRA and Jenkins.Experienced in developing and integrating NBI and SBI (REST/SOAP/ CLI/NETCONF)Experienced in network test equipment (Ixia, Spirent and open source traffic generation/analysis tools)Strong problem analysis and problem-solving abilities and demonstrate behavior to research and define solutions with open ended requirementsAble to identify system deficiencies, create, design and document solutionsCan do attitude and resourcefulness to develop complex application components with quality and on timeStrong interpersonal skills, ability to work and collaborate in team-based work setting and demonstrated a persona to advocate the product with desire to share knowledge.Knowledge and experience of integrating with Nokia NDAP product preferred.Experience with end-client and/or customer management preferred.Education Required: Four year degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.Desired: Networking technology certification (Nokia Nuage Virtuoso, SRA, NRS II)Imagine creating technology that has the potential to change the world.
