PHP Web Developer JOB DESCRIPTION: Job Title: PHP Web Developer Job Position: Contract-To-Hire Location: HSR Layout, Bangalore. SUMMARY: As a PHP Web Developer, the web developer relies on experience in web application development to design and build Moodle LMS, WordPress, Drupal related web solutions including plugin/theme development, third-party integration customization. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan, design, develop, debug, implement and support web-based applications and services. Modify existing software to: correct errors, allow it to function in new operating environments, or improve performance. Adheres to and recommends improvements to project coding standards. Work remotely in a team environment with shared code, disciplined use of source code control and process documentation. Improve software quality by conducting systems analysis, and recommending changes in policies and procedures. REQUIRED SKILLS: Strong PHP5 coding skills with an emphasis on Object Orientated Programming. Experience with Content Management Systems like WordPress, Drupal, Joomla Plugin Development. Experience with MySQL, PL/SQL, etc Experience with major JavaScript libraries such as JQuery, Node.js, etc. Experience with HTML5 CSS3 Experience with Ubuntu/Linux, SSH, Shell Scripts, etc. DESIRED SKILLS: Experience or Knowledge of Moodle LMS. Experience or Knowledge of Amazon Web Services. Experience with Linux Server Administration/Monitoring. SOFT SKILLS: Strong work ethic and ability to self-manage. Strong oral and written communications skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to participate in multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to communicate effectively with team members. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Computer Science or equivalent working experience. 3+ years of PHP programming experience. Thorough knowledge of relational database object-oriented programming concepts.,
