The Student Programs (SP) organization is responsible for attracting, hiring, and integrating the best student talent from all backgrounds to build the future of Amazon s global workforce. We are looking for a highly determined, self-motivated, influential program manager to own the vision for diversity & inclusion efforts in APAC.In this role, you will: Partner closely with regional recruiting managers and recruiters, as well as the global and local diversity & inclusion organization (GDIO), and other SP diversity & inclusion PMs to build and execute a diversity recruiting plan for the countries in which SP hires in APAC. Ideate, develop, and execute large scale programs and initiatives to increase diversity of our candidates APAC. Earn trust across a range of partners and customers to establish yourself as a trusted subject matter expert. Dive into data, and understand the story behind the data to make decisions. Seek diverse perspectives to manage complex projects. Connect and inspire people to drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple groups with competing priorities. Track progress, measure success, and report on learnings and results. Communicate project status through regular email updates and other trusted mechanisms (QBRs, narratives, etc.). Partner with GDIO and other diversity and inclusion practitioners across Amazon to share and identify best practices, and leverage effective tools.The successful candidate will have experience initiating, driving, and delivering cross-functional strategies, earning trust with customers, and translating research into action. Preferred Qualifications Experience driving diversity & inclusion efforts. Strong project management skills and experience, including managing multiple internal stakeholders and projects at once. Ability to motivate and influence leadership, stakeholders, peer groups, and cross-functional teams. Experience effectively partnering with HR and business teams to build effective programs and strategies. Experience measuring program impact against pre-defined success metrics, and proven ability to employ data-driven decision making. Excellent communication skills, paired with sound business judgment and ability to look around corners. Understanding of recruiting processes. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, deadline-oriented work environment.
