Job ID: JR0202668Job Category: EngineeringPrimary Location: Bangalore, KA INOther Locations:Job Type: Experienced HirePost Silicon Validation Lead Engineer Job Description Platform Validation Engineering (PVE) within the Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) group is looking for a Post Silicon Validation Lead Engineer to be a part of our team during an unprecedented time of growth and technology development and enable Intels datacentric vision in building and scaling custom logic solutions spanning coherency and interconnects. In this role you will be responsible for validating entire solutions with board, silicon, SOC RTL, software, and firmware ingredients. You will also be responsible for the following - Post silicon hardware validation and debug of next generation FPGA and highspeed Transceiver tiles across various protocols and use cases - Lead definition of validation strategies validation plans content development and drive execution and debug with cross functional teams- Development of methodologies and capabilities that enable efficiency and effectiveness of post silicon test content including synthesizable FPGA designs and scripts- Required to create, define, and develop system validation environment and test suites. Use and apply emulation and platform-level tools and techniques to ensure functionality and performance as per spec.- Responsible in validating the functionality of new architectural features of next generation designs by developing test plans, tests content, coverage points or test tools.Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical or Electronics or Computer Engineering with minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in one or more of the below,- Strong experience in FPGA or ASIC based SoC system-level validation and debug - Knowledge on Validation/ Debug Flows, overall SOC Architecture and automation frameworks- Experience in understanding product specification, microarchitecture design details and map it to a given implementation - Experience in concurrency and coherency validation is highly preferred - Expertise in post silicon validation of FPGA or ASIC based SoC products including coming up with test plans, test cases for a feature and devising debug techniques- Knowledge and hands-on experience in validation of PCIe and/or CXL based products will be a perfect fit but others with experience on similar protocols would also be considered equally - Good working knowledge in C++/Python/Perl SW programming for content development and scripting : Ability to understand existing scripts and write new scripts/make changes to Python based validation and debug scripts - Exposure to CUDA, Open VINO, One API toolkits and other similar technologies would be preferred and considered a big plus - Expertise in hands-on work in a hardware lab with test equipment (including JTAG, Oscilloscopes, BERT Scopes, protocol analyser, logic analyser, etc.), computer systems, and test stations is preferred.- Hands-on with specialized test equipments such as Lecroy PCIe/CXL analyser and using features of Lecroy tools such as the compliance testing suite for PCIe or any other similar product and technology would be considered an advantage - Candidates with previous experience on any FW architecture, FW development, FW validation with a broad system view can be considered - Exposure to FPGA hardware implementation and debug with Intel Quartus or Xilinx Vivaldo is preferredPreferred QualificationsIn addition the ideal candidate is expected to have- Skills and ability to be a self-starter ramp quickly on new technologies and collaborate closely with stake holders to drive quality and efficiency- Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills- Good communication skills verbal and written- Strong inclination to innovation to drive efficiencyInside this Business Group The Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) was formed from the acquisition of Altera.
