Apply now!The ICA (Industries & Customer Advisory) specialist is a thought leader who influences the logistics digital transformation roadmaps of the customers with his/her knowledge of the logistics processes, best practices and process metrics. He/she guides the customers in institutionalizing the best practices with SAP and partner solutions.Responsibilities

  • The ICA specialist undertakes the process discovery to understand the potential benefits technology could bring to the customers organization. She/he develops empathy for the users, builds logical consistency in the processes, develops to-be processes bridging the digital gaps and identifies the right & optimal technology (applications, partner solutions, business technology platform) to support the processes. The work involves identifying the optimal technology solutions (with a clear view of the business case), ways of integrating the solutions into the current landscape and phasing in-out the solutions with an optimal transformation path (considering the investments of the customer, business case and SAP solution roadmaps)
  • One of the key stakeholders in the transformation is the business user. The ICA specialist showcases a day in the life of the business user through contextual demos and how the quality, productivity and fidelity of the users work improves with the software. Typical work involves showcasing the standard demos. In some cases, customers might look for custom demos. The ICA specialist works closely with Solution Experience team/partners team/Consulting team to get these custom scenarios developed and showcases how SAPs solutions help the business users.
  • The ICA specialist is an influencer. She/he articulates the need for the transformation, SAP enablers & differntiators & the potential benefits/business case to the stakeholders in the customers organization.
  • The ICA specialist works closely with the Account Manager, Sales Specialist and IBA to develop the account strategy and the engagement plan. This involves developing an engagement plan to win the mindshare among the stakeholders.
  • The ICA specialist is also a strategist. She/he identifies the markets for the SAPs solutions proactively and prepare a game plan for winning those markets. The specialist deploys brainstorming sessions, design thinking workshops to develop new and innovative solutions for customers and prospects.
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in PLM or Project Management areas. The candidate should have hands-on knowledge of atleast one of SAP Project Systems, SAP Engineering Control Center, SAP Project & Portfolio Management, SAP Commercial Project Management, SAP Recipe Management, SAP Idea Management, SAP Product Lifecycle Costing. The candidate should have hands-on knowledge as-
a. a core team member who has implemented and run the solutions, orb. a consultant who has implemented the solutions, orc. a solution experience/presales consultant who built the demosDesirable qualifications:a.knowledge of SAP/non-SAP PLM solutions in process/discrete industriesb. Understanding of the sales/presales processes such as discovery, solutioning, customer engagement, business case preparation, value articulation, c-level messagingc.Knowledge of design thinking & story telling,
