*Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. This person will work independently and perform at a senior level to help build out our technology platform using technologies like Java, Node.js, Ruby on Rails and Angular.js. You ll work with a rock star engineering team that s passionate about building the first study startup platform of its kind for our pharmaceutical clients. You must be willing to collaborate and help others on the team as necessary, and be a solid team player. This position is an individual contributor (no direct reports). What youll do.

• Advance the state of the art in building SaaS product with Java, Node.js, Ruby on Rails and AngularJS.
• Full stack development of SaaS enterprise applications, which streamline workflow processes in an important industry.
• Work with other top-notch engineers, PMs and QA.
• Operate as a member of the HSGBU goBalto agile development team.

Skills you have

• Minimum of 8 years experience
• Full-stack development experience
• Multiple years of experience with technologies Java and Node.js
• Demonstrable experience building web components using technologies like Angular.js, JavaScript
• Strong data modeling and SQL skills.
• Proven experience with unit testing and test frameworks.
• Git or similar distributed SCM tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrable expertise and recent experience with the following is a plus:
  • Enterprise SaaS architectures
  • Service-oriented architectures
  • Familiarity with cloud-based deployments
  • Reporting and analytics
