Job Summary:A contributor to the operational excellence and effectiveness of Altair s Corporate Procurement Team. Altair is a high-tech company and procures a wide range of technology. The successful candidate will participate in various aspects of the procurement process, interacting with both vendors, internal customers and Altair procurement systems. They will also participate in ongoing and ad-hoc administrative and reporting duties for analysis, monitoring, and research purposes.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in the Purchase Requisition process and the issuance of Purchase Orders for indirect purchases
  • Coordinate and collaborate with suppliers and internal customers
  • Provide assistance to the Procurement management team
  • Coordinate and prepare documentation for regional and global supplier audits
  • Manage suppliers data in Altair s ERP system
  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to procurement procedures, process, and guidelines
  • Create and assist with team presentations
  • Collect and organize data
  • Provide reporting and data analysis
  • Oversee administrative aspects of team meetings
  • Coordination of stakeholders/steering committee for team meetings
  • Create tactical project timelines
What You Will Need:
  • Bachelor s degree required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in similar function
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience with commercial procurement tools preferred
  • Effective communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with project management tools and methods preferred
