Product Designer Web | Cleartrip Product Designer Web Profile You can demonstrate a solid understanding of the fundamentals of product design- customer understanding, funnel metrics, translating qualitative and quantitative understanding into actionable insights, understanding of tech and infra constraints, ability to conceptualise solutions within tight constraints, converting design solutions into production ready HTML/ CSS (or JS for PWAs), track performance of the product once live and iterate. You have great taste for good design and elegant code and know how to translate taste into outcomes. You take pride in your attention to detail and strive for perfection from concept to product. You are as passionate about pixel perfect design as you are about well written, readable code. You have experience creating web apps/ products with end to end ownership- you know the working differences of design and code for desktop vs. mobile vs. PWA. You have worked in dynamic, collaborative environments and worked alongside product managers and engineers. You are articulate and can clearly rationalise and communicate your design assumptions and decisions. Responsibilities You will own product design and style sheet for the web. You will create and manage the product design end- to- end. You will be responsible for customer market understanding, concept design, creation and maintenance of style sheets for the product on the web. You will collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure design intent is in sync with business goals and followed through to production. Requirements 2- 4 years of relevant industry experienceBased out of or willing to relocate to BangaloreHigh quality online portfolio of relevant work- website (preferred) or a shareable PDF demonstrating your command over good design fundamentalsSuperlative command over Sketch, Principle, HTML/ CSS (including CSS transitions animations)Working knowledge of event handling in JS, React JS for PWAs, CSS in JS, CSS pre- processing using GULP/ CESS/ SCSS, handling of SVGs and sprite sheets in webpagesUnderstanding of version controlled codeAbility to optimise HTML/ CSS for performanceA degree in design (industrial design, visual communication, interaction design or similar) is highly desirableIf you think you fit the bill wed like to meet you.
